Practical Boston notes in plain language. Not medical advice — for emergencies or concerning symptoms, contact your veterinarian.
Daily Boston checklist 60‑second scan
- Breathing: normal for your dog? Any sudden coughing, gagging, wheezing, or heavy panting?
- Eyes: clear + comfortable? (Boston eyes are exposed — note redness, squinting, discharge.)
- Skin: new itching, bumps, or red patches?
- Appetite + water: normal today?
- Energy + mood: normal “Boston zoomies” level?
- Bathroom: normal stool/pee for your dog?
Tip: if something looks “off”, log it in Logs → Notes (date + what changed).
Heat & travel safety Bostons are heat‑sensitive
- Plan shorter walks when it’s hot/humid. Bring water.
- Use shade breaks and watch for overheating.
- In the car: secure with a harness or crate, and keep the cabin cool.
